Photographer Robert Davidson presents an insider’s view into life in a 1970’s ashram with controversial guru Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (Osho), as seen on Netflix documentary ‘Wild Wild Country‘; never-before-seen images of Amma, and exclusive photographs from recent meetings with Guruji in Tamil Nadu, South India.

During the 1970s, Robert became a follower of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, later known as Osho. Robert recounts his experiences of the ashram in Poona, and the inimitable character that was Osho.

Amma

Photographer to ‘The Huggy Mummy’ during a European tour, Robert displays previously unseen pictures and tells of his time spent with Amma.

Guriji – Meetings in Tamil Nadu

In December 2017, Robert travelled to southern India to meet and photograph Guruji; the larger-than-life spiritual leader with the rock n’ roll personality.
